Robert Reich has become one of the most active and effective leaders in the movement to stop Trump from becoming the first American dictator. In his Substack column, he asks an important question about the media role in normalizing what used to be clearly recognized as the onset of dementia.

Addendum … The media might be learning. On CNN this morning, David Axelrod, best known for being the chief strategist for Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns, was discussing Trump’s disastrous “news conference” at his golden palace in Florida yesterday. His description of the state of Trump’s confusion was colorful and entertaining.
“He didn’t know whether to scratch his watch or wind his butt!”
