WW III might have started, but it’s not all bad.

By now, you are fully aware that “our ally” (?) Israel might have kicked the wasp nest once too often. The news will be full of that. You don’t need me to tell you anything about it because there are much, much better sources.

What this piece is about is other things that I have heard nothing about, but which are also direct results. And, in particular, they “might” have some positive effect. God knows, we need something positive to think about.

• This “might” give some relief to a country that is a worthy ally of the United States: Ukraine.

Iran is a major supplier to Russia. At the same time, Biden’s policies are turning it into an economic “sick man”. And the attack against Israel is massive. It’s gotta be putting a dent in Iran’s capability. Now, if you’re in charge in Iran, are you going to be shipping arms to Russia or sending them by a more aggressive means to Israel. Do I hear a “Azoy iz gut!” ??? Israel has been less than enthusiastic in supporting Ukraine and US objectives there. In fact, they have been downright stingy. Maybe they have inadvertently done it anyway. We can hope.

• Finally, at last, and Hosanna Unto The Highest, this might push that blowhard, lying sack-a-jawea Trump off the front page for at least a little while.

The courts will continue to serve justice-on-a-shingle to Trump on Monday. His best opportunity to repeat “witch hunt” to his slavering base will start on Monday and the slavering media might just give it a miss – more or less – now that they have something else to slaver about. Let’s all sigh in relief: Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Silence is golden.

• Practice makes perfect.

Our hideously expensive military will get the best chance it has had in, not years – decades – to get the best training they will ever have: The Real Thing. I hate war. I hate the military. (And I put in some time in the Army so I have more than just an opinion.) But I cooperate with a lot of things I hate – income taxes for example – because they actually are necessary. I want the United States Military to be the best in the world and I want the world to know it. It’s better than the alternative.

However this works out, yet again, things will be much different now.
